he (23m) wanted me (25f) to make a decision. he left me on read and I don’t get why
recently was in a situation where a person asked me to decide if I wanted to keep him in my life. I reached out and said I had thought of it and came to a general decision.
he asked me what it was that I came to, and before I told him I quickly asked why he wanted me in his life before I felt ok to tell him how I felt. we were very close friends before this, kind of romantic, but a rift formed when he became sort of an ass and never mended itself. Then we both moved and didn’t reconnect until recently. He immediately left me on read without answering. I quickly said that knowing would help me feel more secure, as I was nervous to say how I felt, but he didn’t reply. been since last evening as of now.
beforehand we did say we both still loved each other, and that he wanted to keep contact with me, but I felt the need to make sure that it was more than sympathetic old memories coming to play before I said anything.
