Hello, I am starting my blood bowl deep dive, I have fully painted the s3 teams and are moving on to the season 2 teams (finally breaking through that pile of shame lol)

But I've run in to a problem.

How do you guys paint / choose a scheme for star players?

I'm basically acting a GM for my friends and family playing Blood bowl so painting lots of teams and with star players usable for multiple teams and I'm a bit lost as to how to paint them

Should they be in team colours and be paired off with a pitaculer team or unique/generic colours so they could be used elsewhere?

What are your thoughts?
