I’m curious if there had been any mention of a prenup, or if Josh indicated on the swoop series, why he walked away from the divorce with nothing?

I know her timing of filing for divorce just a few weeks before _Haters_ premiered probably had to do with cutting Josh off any cut of that Netflix paycheck. At minimum, Josh should have been entitled to a healthy split of community property.

I’m certain his continued obsession with Colleen all these years later is directly linked to his current financial struggles. Why didn’t he walk away with more money?

Josh was every bit as problematic as Colleen: posting content for his predominantly child and adolescent audience: queerbaiting, sexualizing bathroom humor, disordered eating, body shaming. The worst part is that Josh specifically targeted not just young people, but vulnerable LGBT+ youth - pretending to create a safe space, then grooming and isolating them, and manufacturing controversy to boost views. He often addressed these kids’ parents (see screenshot) directly, so he can’t claim he didn’t know his audience was children. There is no apology or redemption for Josh.
