Mold inspector refused to check in bathroom

I had a mold inspector come out because my apartment complex wouldn’t check themselves. I really wanted him yo check my garage and bathroom but he only said “bathrooms” normally have more mold because they are moist and only checked outside the door

I spent a good amount of money and the results came back as below the range but Im just stuck wondering how different they could have been if he actually checked the bathroom like I originally asked. The bathtub itself was my issue as they just continue to rechaulk it when its discolored around the edges and has causes leaks for my downstairs neighbor

Any thoughts on this or people with similar experiences?

Conservative treatment is a life ruining lie

Cortisone shots and physical therapy will only delay worsening symptoms for patients who will inevitably need surgery anyways. The only difference is that by the time they get the surgery fatty infiltration has ruined their chances of achieving a well functioning shoulder.

I was lied to by my doctor for 4 and half a years that cortisone shots would “lower inflammation” and “allow my shoulder to heal” now my shoulder will never be normal. I could have had the surgery back then and my success rate would have been over 90%.

I used to compete in powerlifting and I could have returned to that and had a normal life after a 6-8 month recovery process from surgery now that will never be possible

Im saying this now so other people don’t have to end up like me. Im only 26 and my future in terms of my shoulder looks horrible all because I trusted my Orthopedic doctor.

Just please do your own research and look out for yourself. These people don’t care at all about their patients

I need help. Positive Toxin, Negative Antigen.

I took clindamycin 3 years ago. I was in a trip and I had an annoying rash and a family member or mine didn’t want me to delay them or the others so they gave me clindamycin and told me Id fine it and it would fix my rash.

My life has been a complete nightmare ever since. For the first 8 months I had diarrhea 8 times a day on average. It was like a colonoscopy prep every day. Eventually it leveled out to diarrhea about twice a day with yellowish stool and thats where Ive been at the last 2 years.

Throughout this time Ive developed arthritis, My kidneys have been damaged, my blood pressure is uncontrollably high even on medication. Im dying and Ive given up on trying to get better. Its hard to even hope anymore.

Anyways a few months ago I got 2 results that gave me some hope it showed I har a positive Toxin but a negative Antigen. I was told this meant I had colonization by a GI but from everything Ive research its the Antigen being positive and the toxin being negative that means that. Am I right about this?

I tried to say this to the GI but I was stuck with the gatekeeper nurse and they never gave me a response so I just gave up but after rereading things something feels wrong. What do you all think?

Why do doctors recommend conservative therapy for AC joint arthritis when it only makes things worse?

For 4 and a half years now Ive been dealing with moderate AC joint arthritis. I thought I was taking the right steps with cortisone shots and PT but I feel betrayed by my Surgeon after having spent time reading the literature and outcomes of others.

From my understanding ac joint arthritis has the likely capability to sever your rotator cuff and cause instability that will damage your labral tissue. It seems nonsensical to delay a surgery that is almost guaranteed to require multiple procedures if delayed.

On my second MRI which was years ago they found tendinosis, chronic subtle partial tearing and labral surface irregularities I did not have prior but I was reassured that these issues were mild. My surgeon even said some of these things could “repair themselves.” Ive come to realize that was a lie and now its been 2 years that partial tearing is most likely inoperable from fatty infiltration.

Essentially by exhausting conservative options first my surgeon has guaranteed I will have a far leas successful outcome. What would have only been a single distal clavicle excision with a success rate of 95% as stated by John Hopkin’s will now require much more operating and I will likely never return to my athletic ambitions. Im only 25 and before this injury years ago I used to be a powerlifter. I even won some of meets. This surgeon kept telling me I could go back to my sport but that only made things worse. I should have had surgery. Ive read so many stories where people who have had the DCE early say they forget they even had the surgery decades later

Im fully convinced my surgeon only cares about his inability to be sued by me and that trusting him his was the worst decision I could have possibly made.
