GameStop Pre Order Warning!

WARNING: Don’t make the same mistake I did!!!

I preordered 100x booster sleeves of GameStop’s “Dragon Ball Super "S2"” at $12 per pack releasing on 11/27, THIS IS NOT DRAGON BALL FUSION WORLD!!!

I was confused when I asked about the preorder and saw the dates were slightly off from FB11, but I figured maybe GameStop had a later release. It’s not uncommon for GameStop to get the drop about a week later sometimes. Even the employees told me “yes this is fusion world” but it is wrong!

New player/collector

Hi, first and foremost I’m going to lead with: fuck scalpers.

Long time dragon bal fan, and have been playing fusion world online for a while now and want to get into the actual TCG. From the playing side, I know what boosters/starters my decks that I want come from so that’s not an issue.

From a collector standpoint, I recently moved and have been setting up my man cave. I finally acquired my entire set of the original dragon ball card game and am moving on to fusion world so I can have something I can actively play too (Masters will be next). Besides what I need to buy to play I want to get one of each booster box/promotion set/etc.

As far as buying those cards or boosters I’m kind of at a loss. The prices are all over the place online so I’m not really sure what’s “normal” to pay for the older sets. Obviously the older sets will be marked up but when one listing is $1000 and the other is $300 I’m not sure which is more accurate. I don’t want to under pay and find out it’s resealed packs or a low price bait scam.

Where do you go to reference your prices? If there is some big known obvious answer I’m sorry for the dumb question, I’m not an avid card collector just a fan of Dragon Ball (much to the dismay of my wife lol).

Thank you!

Also, I live in Oahu. So if anyone knows good places to shop or find other players here that would be dope too!
