Looking for any and all information I can get on hunting the BWCA for grouse. What areas should I be looking at?

Headed out on Knife for my first time in early July. I've never caught a Lake Trout and hope to do so. Been reading about baits. Several mentions of purple tail dancers and blue and silver spoons. Any tips or advise is HUGELY appreciated!
