5th sem MECH Faculty

I'm from Mech dept (5th sem), mech students could u plse tell, the mech companies visits our clg , so how internship / placement rounds happen? Like when we apply, then how many rounds will be there, what kind of rounds (i mean about what, and what they asks), and are those rounds offline or online mention that as well plse!

5th sem is about to start (2028 batch)... Could anyone tell when companies will come for internship / placement recruitment in college? We haven't received any mail from TPO till now regarding any company visit or anything ...

I have a lot of doubts regarding placement and internships, like which company expect tech skills from mech students, whether mech students can sit for tech companies, exact timeline of internships and placement etc etc... rn i sent mail regarding this to my few subject faculty, but no one is replying (may be bcz of sem break)... and ig i should asl these doubts to TPO faculties but idk how to contact them... could anyone plse share mail Id of TPO faculty or anything that would solve my doubts?

I'm TY Mech student (entering 5th sem) interested in tech placements. Are Mech students allowed to sit for interview for software/IT companies at VIT Pune? If yes, then how many companies allow us & do Mech students actually get placed in tech roles on campus??
