The guardian of the feet!!

7 weeks post bilateral ORIF on my ankles (X-rays and CT Scan at the end) and my little pup, Luna, has taken it upon herself to be my own personal foot bodyguard!

Who have you guys got for some furry companionship? Tell your pets I said Hi!!

Bilateral Tibia and Fibula compound fractures

Following a motorcycle crash 7 weeks ago where a driver pulled out on me. Had 3 surgeries done so far and probably will need a few more. The pain feels relentless at the moment and the feeling of helplessness as I’m stuck in bed or on a wheelchair!
I know I’ve got a long road ahead of me for recovery but it feels endless at this point! I can’t even begin to weight bare yet and the frame is gonna be on for minimum of 6 months!

Bilateral tib/fib breaks

Bilateral tib/fib breaks

Bilateral tib/fib breaks with Ilizarov frame on the right leg and IM Nail in the left. Each tib is in 4 plus parts atleast and told I can’t walk properly for atleast 6 months.

Anyone else done similar? How did others get on with recovery?
