Does anyone here hand-paint their own rubber ducks?
(It wouldn't let me post without an image, so here's a mini ducky for you guys)
Like the title says. My collection of rubber ducks is slowly growing, which I'm happy about, but I find myself wanting to buy a bunch of generic ones and painting designs on them myself. This got me curious if anyone on here does that, and if so, I have some quack-stions.
What kind of paint do you use? (Acrylic? Miniature paint?)
Do I need to prime the ducky beforehand or anything like that so the paint will stick? Or is the rubber material good enough on its own?
When you finish a painted ducky, do you use varnish or gloss or anything to help preserve the paint job?
EDIT: Fixed some typos
