So I found a 145 theri near redwoods while searching for a spino on my sarco I don't have kibble so what do I need to tame this bad boi

I found a 145 argy on carno island and tranqed it but 2 carnos and 3 raptors spawned near it and ruined it's tame effectiveness so what should I do should I keep taming it (only 27%effectiveness) or should I let it die and find another one
