Improve Old Outfit Challenge

I posted outfits with these blue jacket and skirt so many times, any new outfits that use them probably qualify. Additionally, here I styled the blue dress and the patterned top given to me by my relative after she decluttered her wardrobe, so it's also an improvement (in a way) over these clothes collecting dust.

I wanted the first outfit to be a moody total blue look but the jacket was too scratchy so I put the red longsleeve underneath and then I had to add more red 🤣

The second outfit is the one I wore to get my ADHD diagnosis (a friend encouraged me not to tone my style down). I was so afraid that my concerns would get dismissed, that I'd be denied the medication. Instead, I received not just ADHD diagnosis but autism one as well. It brought up a lot of emotions; I think this might become one of those life-changing revelations.

I think discovering this system and learning to discern my style needs have taught me how to do that with all sorts of other needs, paving the way for this latest discovery.

I'm really grateful to everyone who shared their experience of being ND with me when I asked, and I'm proudly joining AuDHD ranks.

Two Outfits Two Times

These are two examples of wearing a similar outfit with different tweaks (mostly due to weather). I think they show a subtle difference in vibes - sometimes I follow the harmony and end up with slightly sweeter, more romantic looks like the one with the white sleeves and the one with the green scarf. When I go for rougher elements, the result is more jarring/messy which I now prefer but feel a bit vulnerable about.

Do you ever get in a situation where more harmonious choice leads you to a vibe you don't like?

Persona Challenge - Snappy Design

I understand keyword Persona to mean an outfit that exaggerates a couple of characteristics and omits the rest using the same logic fictional characters are designed with. So the outfit is either "snappy", easy to read, dynamic, almost cartoonish, or it has lots of visual interest (like in video games) that falls down into snappy categories (e.g. "rich vampire with a tragic past" wears tons of ruffles and has long hair).

I think some of my past outfits (above) fit this description because when I was making them I wanted something dynamic or was obsessed with one type of visual interest.

One of my style goals is to have outfits that read as "a character with design" but without loosing contradictions or intriguing elements that actually fight against that read. So basically I don't know what I want 🤣 Maybe by embracing playfulness, which I've been doing lately, I will be able to marry both concepts.

Spa + Rehab to remove deodorant stains: the Result (no soup inside)

Thanks to u/KismaiAesthetics spa and rehab days instructions, I was able to remove (or significantly reduce) old deodorant stains from my Uniqlo aerism/heattech underlayers.

My one regret is that these clothes aren't supposed to be washed at 90°C but I put them in boiling hot water when soaking (I have no water cooler so I wanted to start with as hot water as possible), thus, the wrinkles - I probably should've let the water cool down a bit.

This is the result of just one go at spa/rehab, but I'm afraid the second round might thin the fabric too much so I'll probably won't do another.
