P&G Band 1 as a Non Intern Candidate

I've heard that P&G is prioritizing previous interns for Band 1 positions. I wasn't able to apply as an intern last year, but I still want to get into it despite it. I am graduating by the end of this year.

I've got a good leadership background, and will start as an intern with another FMCG soon. I talked to my friends who works there and they say I've already got an edge but I'm not so confident as a non P&G intern.

Anyone here got a Band 1 JO that was not under the internship pipeline? Any tips or advice for my application? I'm looking at Brand Management / E-Commerce.

UMC (Retail) or FMCGs

Hi! I'm a graduating student underway to having my final interview in the UMC program. I want to weigh the pros and cons of working in a UMC or in a Multinational FMCG. I see some of the pros, but I want to know why I shouldn't pursue both options.

Would appreciate your thoughts on this and the culture in both retail and FMCGs.

Which offers the best career growth? I'm confident I'll be able to grow with Uniqlo, but would I be missing out on better compensation and career growth if I choose to pursue this?

What would the career progression look like in Brand Management at FMCGs compared to Retail?
