So I was wondering why I didn’t have any activity on my account yet so I called financial aid and they basically said if you took summer classes even if you decided to drop them before the due date no penalties because you were once enrolled in the classes you won’t be getting a refund til next week because of sap lmao I think that’s crazy because of you dropped them idk why they would impact you but apparently it still does so yeah just in case their is anybody else who signed up for summer classes but didn’t go through with it 😭 . Maybe it’s not true idk still have some time before they close to see but yeah looks like if this is the case for you too we won’t be seeing any activity til next week 🙃.

So I know disbursements start next week 8/12/26 and their may be delays on those who have loans but my questions is when do refunds usually disburse after 8/12/26 last fall my direct deposit information was wrong lol so I had to redo it but even then I received my funds on the 8/22/25 so I’m assuming if my information would have be correct I could of possibly received it that Friday 8/15/25

The only reason I’m asking is because the census date is this Monday and after the date you can’t add or drop any classes. I’m trying to see how long does financial aid take to do summer award letters . I just registered Monday I know ( be patient) but like I said the census date is this Monday and I need to know if I need to drop this class because if I’m not getting a summer Pell grant I can’t be flip the bill for it 💀. So anybody who just registered this week for a summer course June 1st have you received any update yet ?

So I called financial aid and asked if they would cover for summer and they told me that since I get a pell grant I more than Likely would get a grant for summer as well, but I just wanna know how about that will affect you in fall and anyone else who also have a pell grant what does your award look like? They said I’ll have to enroll and see and depending how many units sometimes it’ll still be balance left over I’m just trying to see other people scenarios lol
