The God of Rot and his Acolyte

This month we're in the Sylvan Forest where the Ciorcal Druids live. They worship the Grimnismal, the Seven Stags who are One, and who represent different aspect of nature and the seasons. Lobhann, the God of Rot, belongs to the season of Summer and oversees the process of converting death into life, consuming and nourishing in turn. Rhiabhach, Ciorcal Druid, is an old man who worships Lobhann and lives his life cataloging the many mushrooms and fungus in the Sylvan Forest. An expert mycologist, he's personally tested and recorded the effects of 133 different mushrooms, some of which were psychedelic or poisonous. His dedication to Lobhann protects him from the effects of these mushrooms... mostly. He's often found contemplating the beauty of the forest, in an altered state.

This month's collection is all about myconids and their compatriots! Why not take a look at my website to learn more? https://cobramode.com/collection

Cutest Rapscallions on the Seven Seas

Nothing says freedom and the high seas like riding a pirate walrus battle station! These scallywags are the many competing captains of the pirate ship The Consensus, a unique ship in which everybody insists that they are the real captain, even the seagull. The only true crew member is Birtum, Murrangi sea otter, who calls himself the First Mate and makes sure the ship can actually sail. While we didn't get to create the actual ship for them this month, you could always use our 3 month loyalty reward, The Budgerigar, as a stand-in! As a note, the big walrus is not printable on smaller printers. You'll need something with around a 10" screen size to print that big boy in the smallest pre-supported size. Take a look through the gallery for detail shots of each of these adorable idiots 😃

Today is the last day to get the collection as part of the subscription (which is the best value deal), but these will be for sale on MyMiniFactory next month for an increased price. I will also say that the absolute best deal is an annual sub on Patreon, which gets you 12 months for the price of 10.

When Veggie Monsters Attack

This month, nature spirits have been getting irate at the rabbitfolk's outlying farms and communities. When they feel their resting grounds are being disturbed, they react by attacking fields and structures, digging up crops, and generally causing mayhem. While the smaller nature spirits are less destructive, the Root Dragon can be quite difficult to deal with. Especially because it can regenerate anything that is cut off, and anything cut off can become a new Root Dragon! Good thing Iron Brow and Bronze Fang, the Guanghan mounted patrolmen, are on the case.

I have pics of all the fun stuff from this collection, including the veggie cart that's been destroyed by the Root Dragon (which is not a true dragon, just dragon shaped). Take a look through all the pics to see everything :)

The June collection is available on Patreon, Thangs, and Tribes, and the subscription is the best deal to get these fun little guys. https://cobramode.com/collection

Veggie Monster Attack This Month!

In the outlying lands of the Guanghan, there are frequent encounters with nature spirits, some of whom get irritated by the encroaching farms and developments. The Guanghan Garden Guard protect their people, but also make sure they don't step over the line to anger the nature spirits. The rabbitfolk have a fraught history with the nature spirits, and after being punished by the Elemental Dragons, have sought a sometimes uneasy balance between their expansion and respect for the land.

This expanded pack of veggie monsters would go nicely with our August 2024 release, and some of our patrons mentioned using them for Turnip28 👀

Stone Golem Buddies (and the people who love them)

The 32mm prints of these guys came out so cute! I was maybe a little inspired by Project Hail Mary in regards to making stone golem buddies for this month (see the 4th slide), but mostly I was thinking of the Geomancers from Final Fantasy Tactics, which my two elf characters are an homage to. The golems each have different appearances according to the Stonebinder who created them. These figures are the May collection, which is still available as part of the subscription until the end of this month. After that, they'll be sold on MyMiniFactory at an increased price.

We've also been slowly building out the lore pages on our website! There's not a whole lot there yet, but the recent 3 collection pages have some links to what's available: https://cobramode.com/collection

Last month I was partly inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics geomancers, partly by Rocky from Hail Mary Project, and maybe a dash of BoTW/Ancient Babylon, culminating in this collection of Stonebinders who live in the deep desert of the Taforalt!

The Stonebinders, called the Ayt Uzran by the nomadic Mazigh, live in the worn-down former mountains that are scattered throughout the Taforalt Desert. They live far from the busy settlements and cities like Jebel Irhoud, so they mainly have contact with the roaming Mazigh or the Ahurazad Sphinxes in their floating cities, or unfortunate wanderers who get lost in the sands. They're a society in decline, however, as their numbers are slowly dwindling. Despite this, they tenaciously hold on to life in the harsh desert, and pass down their unique art of Stonebinding where they create autonomous golems from rock infused with a stoneseed, which sprouts and gives their golems life.
