Howdy y’all! I’m getting a job at UT soon, and will be relocating from San Antonio to the Austin area. I’m not too familiar with the Austin area, so I could use some helpful info on affordable 1 bed 1 bath apartments. I’m hoping to keep rent under $1000, be less than 30 minutes travel from campus, and allow 2 well-behaved cats. I also have my own furniture, so it doesn’t need to be furnished. I would LOVE an in-unit washer & dryer, but even on-site would suffice. I don’t need anything fancy, just somewhere safe and well-received by locals. Thank you!!
