I want to book Taigun 1.5, but I got a review that the DSG gearbox is not good for city driving. I’ll be using it as a primary car daily so it will he driven in city traffic (Pune) and then on highways on weekends. Taigun 1L is good but o liked the pinch in 1.5L. Also I was told that the new 8 speed gearbox in 1L is made in China, not sure if this is true but raises issue of reliability in my mind. Hence inclined towards 1.5L.
How is the experience of existing Taigun 1.5 owners?

I test drove a Volkswagen Taigun recently and loved its driving dynamics. However, there’s only petrol option available. Is it worth buying a petrol car in 2026 considering government is considering increasing ethanol blending to 80 percent?
Or should I just look for diesel vehicles?
Electric cars is not an option for me as setting up charging point near my house is an issue.
