Options other than wood
I want to install a vented insert in this fireplace but I was told by the installer that the stone around the edges is a huge problem and that after the trim kit was in, the fireplace would have to be quite small. Installer stated I wouldn't like the look. Is a ventless set of logs here my only option here for some heat and ambiance without dealing with wood, smoke, and ash?
