When did (or does) she seem like her most authentic self?

With celebrities it’s obviously hard to know this, but when do you think she was her most authentic self (or do you think she is currently)? Just curious if people lean toward a similar time or have varying opinions.

Imo, it seems like around Positions/COVID time (and time with Dalton) was her most authentic.

About the people around her

I keep seeing people blame her family, friends, team, etc. for not helping her. The most frequent comment I see is that shes surrounded by people who enable her. I have no doubt that on some level, she could be around other people who either don’t express concern for her health or even encourage her ED-related behaviors.

But how are people so sure that no one close to her has tried helping her (or is actively trying)? The public doesn’t get to see everything going on in her life. For all we know, people could be having private conversations with her to express their concerns, encourage treatment for her ED, or take a break from touring to prioritize her health. She’s an adult, no one can force her to get better.

Makes me wonder if people are expecting her mom, for example, to make a public post expressing concern for Ariana’s health. That’s just not realistic imo, unless Ariana were to start that conversation online.

I know the comments about her inner circle come from a place of care and concern, but it feels insensitive to assume that NO ONE close to her cares about her health and that everyone’s ignoring the warning signs.

Why is Kinger Only Lucid in the Dark?

Apologies if I’ve missed discussion or a reveal on this already. I have a few theories:

  1. Being alone for as long as he was negatively impacted his psyche, and his lack of memory in the light is somehow protective (in terms of abstraction).
  2. This could somehow be a negative effect of aging in the circus/prolonged time in the circus, since he’s somehow been resilient to abstraction.

But recently rewatching, I came up with a third. What if he went inside Queenie’s abstracted conscious (like Pomni with Jax), but he wasn’t pulled out nearly as quickly? I could totally see Caine being gone for a prolonged period of time and only pulling him out when he realized where he was and that he was at risk of abstracting. And it would make sense with what we saw in the finale. Maybe he knew the quicker they pulled Pomni out the better? And pitched the idea of Zooble using their extra pieces to rescue Pomni? (It’s possible Zooble just acted quickly or pitched the idea themself, or something else motivated this)

Other theories? What do you think about these theories?

EDIT: Thanks for sharing all your different theories! Those of you that mentioned him likely dissociating and the darkness grounding him bc it reminds him of Queenie: That definitely makes sense given what we know from episode 3. Those of you treating episode 3 like the full reveal…. It’s not like he answered how or why this came to be, idk why you’re commenting like I asked a dumb question.

I respect your ships…

…and funnybunny is overrated imo. Personally, the only thing I can ship Jax with is therapy.

I like both characters, and Pomni’s my favorite, but they make more sense as friends.
