Should I add Next Up Anytime to my plan closer to when I want to upgrade to the iPhone 18 Pro or should I add it now? I just don’t want to be wasting money

What are some of the best thin cases, and I mean THIN, for the 17pm? One that barely adds any mm. I rarely drop my phone so I want a super thin case, and preferably not the ones that snap on. I’ve looked at the Caudabe Veil for example.
