hi everyone! i’m just wondering, do you need to talk to science advising/your program head to graduate in 5 years instead of 4? because i technically could fulfil all my grad requirements this upcoming year but im wanting to take a fifth year because i’m dealing with health issues and want to reduce my workload
hi everyone :) i am looking for some advice on whether people think it’s worth doing a fifth year to boost my average from approx 90.5 to 91.7 ish? i know there’s always a chance your average won’t increase by that much if you do a fifth year but im basing that number based on what my third year looked like and the grades i was able to achieve. fourth year is easier in my program and i’d have a lot of space for electives if i did a fifth year.
i am in province for UBC so i guess i’m mainly focused on whether it would be worth it for ubc!
hi everyone! i’ve interviewed for a job recently and they requested 3 professional references… does anyone know if a prof would count if i discussed my experience with that class numerous times in the interview and it is highly relevant to the position?
hi everyone! i was originally prescribed bupropion for adhd after trying a bunch of stimulants that didn’t work. i started at 150mg and went up to 300mg (for around 4 months) but felt absolutely nothing. since then i’ve been diagnosed with mdd (i think i was diagnosed incorrectly the first time) and my doctor has recommended anti depressants. they wanna start me on cymbalta since i also have a pain thing going on but i’m so scared of cymbalta withdrawal. i’ve read many times that wellbutrin is one of the best tolerated anti depressants with relatively few/less severe side effects AND it is the most energizing. i am fatigued all the time so when i first read about it i was excited to try it but of course, it didn’t work.
i am wondering if anyone here has any thoughts regarding if it is worth trying name brand wellbutrin before i try something else, considering i’ve already tried a generic version and felt 0 effects. please let me know! :)
