[the callisto protocol]
Platinum 33: The Callisto Protocol — a game that caught my attention the moment it was announced, but I never actually played it until it became free with the PlayStation Plus subscription. I started it and honestly found it pretty mediocre at first, especially because of the robotic gameplay. I left it sitting in my library for about 2 years until I decided to give it another shot, and that’s when I started to grow attached to it.
Artistically, it’s brutal. The atmosphere is incredibly immersive, but the story is generic and the ending basically forces you to buy a DLC to get the full conclusion (I watched the ending on YouTube and thought it was terrible).
As for the trophies, they were generally easy. The trophy for fully upgrading a weapon bugged out for me, so I had to max out every weapon before it finally popped. Other than that, mission accomplished — I’m not interested in going for the 100% this time.
