Regular burning stomach 💔

Hey, my gastritis was caused by h pylori which is fortunately eradicated now... But now I'm left with mild chronic Gastritis with moderate intestinal metaplasia. Atp, I'm following a bland diet that is not very strict tbh.... I was on ppi for 20 days and I stared feeling numbness in feet... Ppi works for me but gives this side effect, also I have been having burning symptom for almost 2 years now.

I was probably on PPIs on and off, pretty sure not regularly but in total I might be on ppi for 4-5 months throughout this 2 years ... I also heard that excessive use of ppi can cause sibo also.. that's why I'm not in favour of taking PPI again... So I'm curious to know if it's possible to cure mild chronic Gastritis or I must have to take PPI despite the side effects.....

If anyone been facing burning as a main symptom, plz give some guide to manage this and heal this condition asap, can also suggest supplements to take

Can I work in Germany with Italian PR ?

Hey, I have doubts on carta di soggiorno di lungo periodo. If someone has this soggiorno also known as Permesso di soggiorno UE per soggiornanti di lungo periodo, can he move to another EU country and apply for work permit & work there without losing this status in Italy ?

H pylori causes functional dyspepsia?

Gastritis or functional dyspepsia or visceral hypersensitivity?

Hi M22 here, been facing stomach issues for almost 2 years now started from a random night ( October 2024 ) when I had dinner and out of nowhere I got vomiting and diarrhea. After that, For next 6 months I faced gastric issues mainly burning In upper abdomen, then in April 2025 I had an endoscopy without biopsy which showed nothing (no redness, everything clean).

In July 2025, I got diagnosed with h pylori through a breath test, & took triple therapy. In April 2026, I had another endoscopy which showed mild chronic Gastritis with moderate metaplasia and mild h pylori, then I took quadruple therapy which eradicated the h pylori confirmed with ubt and stool antigen test.

It's been three months but still, I feel same burning which I have been facing since that night when It all started, before the 1st endoscopy which didn't show anything, I still had burning so thats why I'm thinking if it's functional dyspepsia/ visceral hypersensitivity instead of gastritis.

Also in 2022, I ate spicy food which gave me gastric issues like bloating fullness, but at that time it was cured in less than 2 months, but it gave me heart palpitations for almost 8,9 months which made me go through multiple heart test like holter, echo, ECG and all of them were very normal. I remember that one doc said my stomach nerves got weaker that's why It gave me palpitations after meals,

so now I'm just thinking that the same thing might be happening now although now I don't get palpitations but burning without any bloating, pain, feeling of nausea, diarrhea... I never had any other symptoms other than burning

+ one more important thing is that when I feel these emotions like shock, anger.... I get this very sudden burning sensation which occurs for only 0.1 second, when I see some pretty girls It happens, It happens alot of time idk why

And ya I have a lot of stress because of these issues

And as of my doc, i have been having these issues cause of stress which might be true to some extent as i literally cry sometimes seeing myself in this situation

So pls give your opinion if functional dyspepsia/visceral hypersensitivity could be the villain despite having mild gastritis

Gastritis is forever

M 22 here, been having chronic gastritis caused by h pylori which is now eradicatd confirmed with ubt and stool antigen test. SoI have been reading alot of reddit posts or sub reddits whatever it's called, I noticed many people saying that they have been having gastritis for 5, some says 10 years, some says 15 years... So I'm just concerned if it's forever or curable. As of gpt and internet, it's very curable if the root cause is gone but on the other hand I have been reading horrifying Reddit story where they say it never goes away which makes me scared.

So what's actually happening ? Idk before I was kind of okay thinking maybe not today, not tomorrow but eventually it will be over since I flushed out h pylori. But now I'm kind of scared.....

( My gastritis started after April 2025, it's been 1 year & 3 months, h pylori eradicatd 3 months ago )

Plz tell me what's actually true.....

Depressed cause of gastritis

Gastritis causing depression

hey guys, m22 this side, I have been having burning for so long now which all started from a random night after having dinner probably (26 October 2024)

Out of nowhere I started vomiting and got diarrhea. The very next day I had my complete blood test. Everything came out normal. During this time I only had fullness, bloating feeling of vomiting. But in FEB 2025 I stated feeling burning in upper abdomen which never went away till now. Then I had an endoscopy without biopsy which came very normal. Then in JULY 2025 I was diagnosed with h pylori.

Then took triple therapy of h pylori in July after that I kept taking meds idk which one may ppis or something..... Then in FEB 2026 I had another test endoscopy test to see if it's eradicated or not but It was still positive it showed mild gastritis with h pylori and intenstinal metaplasia. Then in April 2026 took quadruple therapy which finally eradicated the h pylori confirmed with ubt and stool antigen test.

And now it's July 2026... After 3 months I'm still having burning.. basically burning never went away for this entire time permanently. I only felt better when I take ppi and when I take ppi for prolonged days I feel numbness in feet

Idk what's going on I'm so stressed plus I'm not even in my home country anymore, i moved to Milan 1 month ago.... Its literally causing depression at this point I literally cry once a week because of my health plus I have read so many posts here where people saying there gastritis never went away even after 5,6 years.... I spend my entire free time on internet, Reddit, gpt for some reason

It started to feel like I have to live with burning forever, I was 20 when it all started now I'm 22... it's only burning, I never had pain, vomitings, fullness, loose motion.....

Burning doesn't have any timing it literally comes anytime sometime empty stomach sometimes after meal.. Idk what else to do, I can't even focus on my career I'm literally in hell rn

Plz guide me,

Can tell if it's something serious or some other diseases

Do I have autoimmune gastritis 🥺

Hi guys, m22 here, been having gastric issues (mostly burning) for almost 2 years now ... Had endoscopy 3 months ago it showed mild chronic gastritis with mild h pylori and moderate intenstinal metaplasia. Then took quadruple therapy and successfully eradicated h pylori confirmed with ubt and stool antigen test. Both of them came out negative.... But I'm still having that same burning in my stomach as a symptom even after 3 months after eradicating h pylori..... Idk what else to do now, I have read a lot about autoimmune gastritis tho it's uncommon in this age but still I'm so scared if this is autoimmune gastritis.... My b12 levels were 350, hemoglobin 15 ( I'm vegan )......... I don't know how to get rid of this burning ....Took ppi but it gave relief temporarily thi my doc didn't prescribe any meds anymore .. its been 2 fcking years I haven't really lived life happily .... I literally cry twice a week....

Currently I'm not in my home country, living abroad with cousins but I can't really visit any hospitals here..... I dont know what else to do anymore....

Plz guide me....

Depression caused by h pylori 💔

Hi M22 this side, been having stomach related issues for almost 2 years (mainly burning sensation at stomach) initially when I was diagnosed with this infection i was just calm and thought it's just another infection which will get eradicated in a few weeks or months... But after having this for almost 1 year, I lost my calm. I took triple therapy last year but it failed and recently i had quadruple therapy too & idk if it worked or not cuz I didn't repeat the test but I still have those same symptoms....

Had endoscopy also --- it shows mild gastritis and intenstinal metaplasia 😟 ( I'm so scared )

I have visited 3,4 different gastroenterologists, none of them is taking it really seriously, they said even if the infection stayed in stomach it won't cause anything.... And stress is the major reason of stomach issues as per them ..... And ya I have a lot of stress like I'm moving abroad for my studies soon & I'm just stressed if I will be able manage these things, what if i will be sick there + i have lost 9 kgs of weight ( 4kg during quadruple therapy)I feel so insecure as I'm underweight (55kgs - 6 ft), stress like I'm a single child if I die who will take care my family... I was into gym alot & now I can barely eat calories dense meals to achieve my dream body

Idk there are so many things idk what to do and what to not, i barely laughed from my heart since last year,

I cry twice every week seeing myself in this situation

Currently I'm on acid suppression or ppi but doc doesn't recommend any of this anymore

Plz drop some words or suggestions, I really need it 🙏🏻🙏🏻💔
