Weird behaviour of front heavy darts
Hello friends, I thought I might share my courent darts journey with you:
I like front heavy darts, found a soft dart with a shape + grip I really liked and tried them with conversion points. They landed tail up at the board how I like it.
Then I thought a bit heavier could be nice, so I bought a target swisspoint converter knowing that it would make the dart even more front heavy.
Would you expect the dart with the heavier sp converter to land even more tail up in the board? Me too, but nope...
They land tail down almost like we saw it from Phil Tailor.
Now I added some extra weight to the back with litte metal weights und guess what? The extra weight at the back brings the nose back down and the tail up.
All darts were thrown with 19mm l-style stems und shape (number 6) flights.
I am fascinated and dont have an explanation for this behaviour...
