Some OBC shit I own

-The album that's submerged in light is Dillinger Escape Plan's first EP lol, just got off work so I'm feeling a bit lazy. I have many more CDs but a lot of them aren't what this sub or even I myself would consider "OBC", I like a lot of bands and genres of music. Next on my "to buy" list will be Adema's self titled, The Red Chord's Fused Together In Revolving Doors, the Slim Shady LP (was shocked when I looked through my collection and remembered the only Eminem albums I have were Eminem Show and Recovery, used to loop it and Swan Songs by Hollywood Undead back to back constantly on family vacations when I was 14 lol), and probably some more Death Metal CDs cus my current Death Metal catalogue is honestly quite pitiful for a guy who was obsessed with DM from ages 19-23.

-I intend to collect many more movies as well, I just got employed again after a while. I've been meaning to find copies of the first three installments of the Scary Movie franchise, 8MM 2, Scarface, Dogma, Torque, Swordfish, the first 3 Fast and Furious (2 Fast 2 Furious is my fav, but the first one is an instant classic and Tokyo Drift just makes me so nostalgiac) movies, the 2003 reboot of the Italian Job (whoever's idea it was to put Mos Def in a crime thriller is a fuckin genius), Belly, and Hustle and Flow. Just watched Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back a couple months ago and it was such a fun little flick so I'll be on the lookout for it too moving forward. I have other movies as well, but they would likely be considered more Dadcore or Older Sistercore by this sub (I'm of the belief that Goodfellas and Real Steel as OBC as Scarface and Transformers, but that might be controversial to some.)

-I have some games but my collection is pretty small and dorky (a lot of Naruto and Suda51, very anime, wouldn't fit here) so it's not worth posting right now, I'm not as passionate about games as I am music or even movies, so I'm really just getting into gaming as an adult. Only OBC games I got so far are Guitar Hero 2-5 (played 3 a lot with my brother and sister as a kid and have fond memories of those times), Bully (my fav rn), GTA San Andreas+GTA 4, Burnout Paradise, Skate 3, Batman Arkham City, JSRF, Red Dead Redemption 1, and a fuckton of Tony Hawk games. I scored a copy of NFS2 and I really want a copy of Def Jam Vendetta (my cousins used to kick my ass at that game but it was so much fun lol) but shit is so expensive rn 💀 need to find it at a thrift store or something but I'm not too hopeful.

The basketball hoop in his room, the Strokes shirt, the masturbation joke, and of course Megan Fox being there. I miss male wish fulfillment fantasies that weren't total fucking snoozefests.

The cherry on top is that the parents lowkey look like Tony and Carmella while their son is just if AJ had a single braincell. Transformers (2007) aka my sexual awakening after Lola GTA4 and Raven from '03 Teen Titans.

24 years ago today, Linkin Park dropped what is now the 4th highest selling remix album of all time. What are your favorite tracks?

I know we don't generally consider anime as part of OBC here, but I think we can make a exception for DBZ lol

Pearl Jam - Do The Evolution

Imo the majority of Grunge is for lame dads, but if any MV was going triple platinum in your house it was this one.

Toonami's Black Hole Megamix, a mixtape of lo-fi Electronic and Hip Hop beats to promote Cartoon Network's late night action block, and their 2001 promo for Gorillaz's 19-2000 music video.

The best car combat game OAT

Paradise is great too and put me onto the best Senses Fail song of all time, but Revenge is the goat imo.

Older brothercore deepcut imo

Has a lot of the edgy art direction and shock value elements that made shit like Pulp Fiction Scaface 2girls1cup and Dance with tbe Devil by Immortal Technique popular this demographic, I remember the ass to ass scene being on par with showing meatspin to your homeboy at the sleepover. Plus 2000s Jennifer Connelly was a fucking smokeshow and I'm sure every 17 year old filmbro would agree.
