Hi everyone,

I'll be moving to Mumbai soon for work, and my office is in Andheri West. This will be my first time living in Mumbai, so I'm trying to understand the rental scene.

My budget is around ₹10,000 per month. Is that realistic for someone looking to stay in or around Andheri West?

I'm open to pretty much anything:

• Sharing a flat with flatmates ( Females)
• PGs
• Hostels
• Co-living spaces

I don't mind sharing a room either if that's what my budget allows. My main priorities are a safe place, decent connectivity, and a reasonable commute to Bandra West.

I'd really appreciate any guidance on:

• Whether ₹10k is enough
• Which nearby localities I should consider if Bandra West is too expensive
• Good Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, or websites for finding flatmates
• Any recommendations for PGs or hostels
• Things a newcomer to Mumbai should know before renting

If anyone is looking for a flatmate or knows of any vacancies, please let me know and as long as the place has good connectivity i don't mind if it fits my budget .
