Super-small sample size I realize, yet before the 2025 MLB Draft, I pitched the idea and argued for Seth Hernandez. It did not go over well.
I like Ethan Holliday and didn't hate the pick (like I did other guys the second after they were drafted) but the Rockies always need pitching and Hernandez has #1 starter upside, if not an ace. He's destroying the minor leagues so far.
Hoping Ethan turns into an offensive monster but I think there is more volatility with him, even if Hernadez is a pitcher, from the high school ranks and him being a Rockies pitcher would have made the odds of his success low.
