I’m new here so please forgive my ignorance, this seems like stop for the paddle boats. Anyone ever been on one?

Hoya R72 filter on EOS 5DMK IV

These are straight out of the camera with no edits. I use an R72 filter on an EF 1.4 50mm and whatever shutter speed I can get away with. I have never shot with a true IR camera so I have no idea what that would be like. Any thoughts on my current setup and what I could do to improve? My vintage m42 lenses seem to handle it much better and the 1.4 is the only one I have that doesn’t struggle to autofocus. The process is pretty simple- attach filter, take a photo, set custom white balance to photo and go have fun

Things to do in and around Paducah

Hey everyone I just moved here for work and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on places to see/visit in the surrounding area. I don’t drink but I do enjoy coffee, photography and all sorts of outdoor activities. The downtown area seems really nice, and I hear there is a giant Superman statue in Metropolis but other than that it doesn’t seem like there is much going on. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

I really love the Lamar building and its current state is horrid. I’m not sure what’s going on with it but it seems like such a waste to let it go to ruin especially considering how iconic it is
