Flat keyboards like the Apple A1243?

My current setup is a Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600, which I dislike for its mushy keys. I also own a low-end mechanical keyboard, which has too much travel distance for my liking.

What really inspired me to start looking for a new keyboard was a 2017 Pixelbook I just picked up - the keys are responsive but quiet, with low travel distance. I've been trying to find an Apple A1243 extended wired keyboard in good condition at thrift stores, since they seem well-reviewed and similar to the Pixelbook keyboard, but all of the ones I've found have been water-damaged or otherwise broken. I do love their feel though.

(I still have one to test and compare with, but it's presumably water-damaged and only the hub works)

If I buy one off of eBay for a little more, will it last long? Is there another brand with a comparable option? Is it worth it for a Magic Keyboard? $160 (CAD) seems like a LOT to spend on a membrane keyboard, so I'd prefer to buy from another brand or get one used for cheaper...

(I do a lot of typing, and play some games - the numpad is invaluable to me for keybinds in Blender and such)

Some closer specifications for what I'd want:

~$120 CAD budget

US QWERTY layout with 12+ function keys

Mechanical or membrane, I don't mind membrane

Any colour, ideally no RGB

Around the size of the A1243
