Am I in the wrong?
This might sound dramatic or something, but me and my four friends (three girls including me and two boys) decided to do a music presentation together because we thought it’d be fun.
The theme was musicals, so we decided to go for West Side Story, in that movie I was Maria, and my friend was Tony. Since we had to present a short scene of the film we used the death of Tony. We rehearsed that for TWO ENTIRE MUSIC LESSONS, but we still needed an actual POWERPOINT/presentation. I kept telling my two friends (the boys) that we should move on since we already were pretty good. They ignored me.
Now two days before the presentation they come begging to me and my friend (we already made the PowerPoint ALONE.) to make everyone a text because they have so much to do. Mind you, I play tennis, have millions of hobbies and STILL succeeded in making it while, I know them, they sit on their ass all day and play video games and watch anime. One of them watches anime at least. And I don’t have anything against it. But making me and my friend do everything? That’s not group work.
So I finally agreed, ‘fine, we’ll make it, but since you three can’t do anything, at least do what we tell you and read everything on Wikipedia in case the teacher asks for side information’
‘No.’
FYM NO?
‘This is a group work, you can’t tell us what to do, we’re not your soldiers’
I’m not trying to, I JUST WANT YOU NOT TO EMBARRASS YOURSELVES IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS!
So, am I in the wrong for ‘commanding them around’ because I find it unfair that we have to do anything. Or are they in the wrong?
