Interviews with Slipknot Members in Voliminal made in their own Homes?
While rewatching these interviews, I noticed several details that may support my words:
1 – Joey Jordison:
The interior in this shot (the furniture arrangement and the sofa) is very similar to what we can see in the Room Tour of his house.
(And by the way, the person interviewing is the same one who films the Room Tour of Joey's house.)
2 – Jim Root:
This shot shows Jim and the interviewer in a room with a slanted roof.
On Jim's Instagram, we can see a photo with two of his cars, and the same slanted roof.
3 – Corey Taylor:
Literally at the very beginning, you can see a bit of the Room Tour of his house, where he shows off the band's awards and his first Mask.
I also think that conducting candid interviews in the personal homes has its own psychological meaning, as they can feel much freer there and express their thoughts much more easily.
Only in Chris's case, the interview was conducted on a golf course – his personal hobby – so the meaning isn't really lost.
