Got my first 10/22 a few months ago (have shot others' plenty of times). Anyways, I finally got around to getting a Dead Air Mask for it.

Directions for the Dead Air Mask say, "...firmly tighten it until the back of the silencer squarely bottoms out on the shoulder of the barrel."

I have definitely firmly hand-tightend it via the directions, but I don't believe this has "bottomed out." Feels like there is maybe 1/16 or 1/32 here - am I worried about nothing? (Edit - see pictures 2 and 3 for close up)

I know this is a Silverado group but I just stumbled across the reveal of the new Sierras and I thought some might be interested...I'm not particularly impressed. No idea why the base model pro gets a nice chrome grille while the elevation gets a cheap/utilitarian looking black grille. Maybe they'll look nicer in person
