Run, don’t walk.

The thing I love most about this hobby is the hunt, and discovery of great tequila. And this right here is an awesome Costco find I got the other day. If you see it, I’d pick up a few bottles.

In my humble opinion this bottle competes with some of the best blancos I’ve had. It’s a little higher proof but honestly doesn’t taste like it with how absolutely smooth it is.

Praying this goes down in price so I can grab more and more!

I wish I liked it! Does it need to open up?

Aroma: Sweet Agave, Chocolate, Slight Oak, Black Pepper, Sharp alcohol burn

Palate: Agave, harsh alcohol heat, black pepper

Am I missing something? Should I just let the bottle open up a bit? Should I return it back to Costco?

For $170 I’m pretty disappointed. I usually love Tequila Ocho, but this one is a no go for me. Super harsh alcohol bite on the nose and the palate. It honestly feels like they didn’t even taste this before bottling. Ive had still strengths smoother, and more complex than this.

Enjoying a nice Football Sunday!

Super easy tequila drink for a hot, football Sunday afternoon. Perfect for game day with friends. Salud amigos!

For anyone who hasn't had a Batanga, you're missing out — it's a classic Mexican highball that's ridiculously simple to make and always a crowd pleaser.

1 MEXICAN COKE!!
2oz of any tasty tequila (a blanco like Cascahuin works great)
.5oz fresh lime juice
Pinch of lime
Salt/chamoy/tajin rim

Build it over ice, or keep it in the glass, give it a stir, and enjoy!
