How can I improve?
I hate this and can't tell why.

9x12”, Jan 2025, oil, acrylic and oil pastel. One of my favorites. This was the piece I had created after leaving a bad bad relationship.
Haven’t painted in so long this sub is giving me inspiration!! Trying to get back into it.

Umbrella tree help :(
My very seemingly healthy umbrella tree (or plant?) having leaves just fall off and be limp/black, along with some holes in leaves. However, there is still new growth.
I don't see any mites or the dreaded thrips under a magnifying glass...I hope I'm not wrong.
How can I help this baby?

Married name to maiden name
I hope this is the right thread or someone can direct me!
I recently got married and changed my name with the marriage bureau/city clerk and I regret it. I haven’t changed my maiden name to married name on anything else, not my social not my passport or license.
I basically want to undo changing my name and stay married- has anyone done this?
