Duplicator line growth controll

Duplicator line growth controll

Hi,

I'm very new to Cavalry, just started learning so please bear with me. I can't seem to find any solution to this so far. I have a single line in a duplicator. The line has the pivot point on the bottom so it can grow from the bottom. I put it in a group so the duplicator respects the animation of the line itself (when I tried to scale the Y of the Shape Scale in duplicator attribute editor it was scaling from the middle no matter what I did and where I put the pivot point)

The issue here is that I need the animation to STOP moving at this point in the picture. Since Im using oscillator rn I cant seem to stop it but also since the duplicator is just staggering the animation, the lines always end up the same height . How can I achieve this please?

I need to be able to animate the X scale of the lines so they change the width still. This seems so simple but I couldnt find any solutions online.

Do I need to have each line as a separate object? Should I use the index num. of the obj. somehow? I would really to just set the lowest and highest height values and have the in-between copies calculated automatically, somehow like Morph tool in Ai works.

Thank you for any help
