I haven’t seen much chatter about this book here so I had to share. {Angel in a Devil’s Arms by Julie Anne Long} is a DELIGHT. It’s funny, it’s tender, it’s full of YEARNING. Lucien Durand does West Ravenel level things to me. It’s the second book in her Palace of Rogues series, which I’ve decided to read in order after also really liking the first one {Lady Derring Takes a Lover by Julie Anne Long}. Both have some of my favorite tropes — forced proximity, enemies-ish to lovers, and a sitcom cast of characters. Plus, competent well-rounded FMCs who are not virgins and emotionally complex MMCs who are not brutes. I highly recommend!
This idea came up on the Locked On Hornets-Wolves crossover episode. Walker and Doug were predicting this. Hornets have famously never had a Christmas game. Wolves have never had a Christmas home game. And now the trade is going to make everyone more interested in watching. I think this would be great!
