OP15 Faulty Water Seal 3 months in - Should I RMA or not bother?

Seems like I have a manufacturing defect in my 15.

Delivered on the 4th of March, so I've had it just over 11 weeks and I've loved every minute of it until now. I've got a flat section at the end of my bath which is a good 30cm wide so sometimes I put the phone there, playing music while I shower and sometimes it gets splashed but all is good because it's IP69K rated right?

After my shower today, I noticed that the front facing camera is all fogged inside.

I turned it off and placed it in the window in sunlight, hoping the warmth would do the job.

The fogging is gone, but I got some calcium chloride crystals (for refillable moisture traps) for good measure and its currently in a sealed box with a tub of the crystals in there as well, sitting in the sunlight, hoping that it'll be OK.

However, given the ratings of the phone, surely I should RMA it for a faulty seal?

The Oneplus sales page even shows a picture of it being used to take a photo underwater.

I'm in the UK, so consumer rights regarding manufacturing defects should cover me - I think.

I'll either get a new model, or it'll just nuke my warranty.

If it's the latter, then it'll already be cooked due because it'll have triggered the water indicators inside the phone - right???

So the only real downside will be losing the phone for a week or two.

Am I crazy for thinking about it, or for not doing it right now? (Need to wait til Tuesday for the UK bank holiday)
