Forgot to add this. The Gith Who Stole Christmas in Volcanic Ice Sheet, temporary base, haven't decided on what the base design will be.

69 hours in... I just discovered it.
I love it. It helps me so much to build an amazing fortress now, knowing I'll one day get to share one of my colonies with you.
8 ghost bedrooms, no one is left to haunt me
11 seeds seems like a lot, but i've only seen this few times. Is it normal to have this many seeds? i don't even know where they all came from.
25th Easter egg, 10th Easter egg, 21st Easter egg, and a dragon?
I love this game.
11 intentional traps, 32k food, 6k medicine (not lavish but reasonably accessible), and a nice barbed wire perimeter to keep raids away.
25x25 Embark onto this rock and you will have this
We have a central collection point at the "castle" biome. These bins are sized for our slug turrets and the mortars that are launched from the central collection point. The slug turrets themselves are armagneless so that the mortars can't fire through them.
The mortars at the central collection point can range anywhere on the map, but once they land they immediately transform into a wall of tiles. Because of this, we have two separate entry points for slug turrets.
Because of this, we have a large hallway from the central collection point to the mortars, where it is important to provide necessary materials and hostile parties pass through. Because of this, we've had to build a second, much larger hallway from the central collection point to the mortars.
Once the mortars have used up all of the materials, they will not be replenished. Because of this, we have two separate replenishing stations at the central collection point.
Because of this, it's important to maintain a balance between stockpiles and junk. Because the junk can go on to the great stockpile, it's best to destroy the stockpile and send it to the great stockpile.
Because the great stockpile has an infinite supply of 1400kg, I'm going to build on a large island. Because of this, I'm going to build on a large island.
Since I haven't seen any large raids, I'm going to assume that raiders are sending quantity requests. Because raiders can't send a large force with one siege, it's probably better to send a small force with smaller assets to accomplish something.
If you've got any questions feel free to ask!
69 hours in and I'm still at 1k hours. And this is all I've ever been good at. It's just been a mental challenge. I'm trying to get a good use of big head so I can build my brain wall and get the big achievement.
