Do you stop eating whenever you have a lull in your appetite?

What I mean is I could be eating my meal at a steady pace, then without realizing it my interest wanes and I put the fork down. Out of habit, I usually end up finishing my plate several minutes later, even if it’s often just a few bites.

But I wonder of that’s part of what’s keeping me fat. What if I just threw away whatever was left when that natural lull comes up, regardless of if it fits in my calorie limit? Because I’m not going to be in a deficit forever and I need to form better habits.

Considering just making a rule that I stop eating whenever that happens. It actually makes me feel good about myself whenever I do, which in itself is worthwhile.

Question about flaking after a mild peel

I did my first TCA peel a few days ago, 2 layers of 15%.

The peeling is really superficial and paper thin, translucent patches have been coming off here and there. It’s really more like dry skin flaking.

Everyone stresses no touching or anything because you’ll get scarring. Does that really apply when it’s really superficial? The skin underneath isn’t raw or anything.

I’m not gonna go scratching stuff off prematurely, but not sure how worried I have to be about removing a flake here and there, or accidentally scratching my face at night.

My grandpa brought these home after WW2

My grandpa brought some coins from Europe (US Marines) and my siblings and I got a couple each.

They’re both 1942. Never looked up their value, but they’re priceless to me.

I think the Belgian one is just tarnished? It’s all matte black IRL. Kind of scared to clean it myself but I’m sure it’s beautiful.

Shoulder fold 1953 penny?

I’m American and just happen to have some Canadian coins. Looked this one up and am not sure if it fits the bill for a shoulder fold penny due to the scratched up condition.

I think the lettering looks right, and the lines on her back look like the SF version to me?

Last night I was getting down on myself for blowing my calorie limit by eating a bunch of nuts. But I was so hungry all day and couldn’t sleep.

I poured out the rest of the bag in the morning and saw this. It made me feel a lot better. It’s okay to be balanced in your journey and take breaks. It’s the big picture that matters.

It’s not like I was eating junk food and I should be proud of that. That’s the exact advice I’d give to anyone else, but rarely to myself. This just made my morning a lot better.

Any other insights from 222?

(No I didn’t eat all that salt. lol)

The tops are fine cause I scrub them every day in the shower. lol But the bottoms are losing a lot of tread.

I like to err on the side of safety (don’t want to slip,) but maybe they have a few months of life left?

I have both, just wondering if it’s worth it to alternate or just stick to microneedling, which I personally find simpler.

I could wait until fall to alternate, unless adding TCA is really promising. Been working pretty consistently on them and seeing some results with microneedling.
