Early spoilers again; the chapter turned out to be more interesting than I expected, so that's good.

Three segments.

1st segment (10 pages):

Focuses on Shizuka and her mother (with appearances by Meru and Rentaro).

The events reference Chapter 182.

Shizuka's mother is named Shiori.

The story is about Shizuka's mother finding out her daughter is writing a book; she wants to read it but also wants to respect her privacy. However, she accidentally sees the title and ends up teleported into Shizuka's "cute world" (that's what I call it, lol).

There, she runs into Rentaro, who had entered that space after hearing the song Shizuka sang at karaoke.

She takes the opportunity to ask Rentaro if he knows about the book; Rentaro confirms he does and offers to either summarize it or recount it word for word, though he notices that she actually wants her daughter to offer to let her read it.

In the end, Rentaro helps Shizuka learn what her mother wants and lets her read the book; despite it being the work of an amateur, her mother believes her daughter could be a prodigy.

2nd segment (7 pages):

Features Meme and her parents.

Meme's father is named Manato, and her mother is named Kurea.

The story focuses on the difficulty her parents have attending their daughter's important school events; whenever Meme spots them, she becomes incredibly embarrassed and vanishes using "misdirection."

In response, the parents decide to pretend they aren't going, while actually attending covertly so their daughter doesn't realize they are there. We discover that they are unusually skilled at hiding—perhaps it runs in the Kakure blood.

3rd Segment (3 pages):

Featuring Hahari, with appearances by Hakari and Mai's grandmother.

The story focuses on a slightly sad Hahari, as Hakari no longer wants her taking so many photos and videos—it embarrasses her.

Mai's grandmother suggests that since Hakari is starting elementary school, she might be trying to become more independent; Hahari, however, doesn't see the issue, given that she only used to record *every* part of her daughter's walk to and from school—*every single day*.

Hahari tries to figure out a way to keep filming without embarrassing her daughter. By chance, they pass an elementary school where she spots Meme's parents hiding in a tree, which gives her an idea.

Next Week, Chapter 257: Even though they're a couple, they're also father and daughter, right?

Today marks the release of Chapter 6 of the spinoff, which surprisingly focuses on Nano's parents; this confirms the theory that we might meet family members who didn't appear in the main story.

Meanwhile, next week brings Chapter 252, featuring Rana and Iku.

As you most likely already know, Episode 2 of the anime's third season has leaked; it appears the source is the same as that of previous leaks.

I’ve looked into it, and so far, I haven't found any leaks on YouTube or X (I did come across one random clip on X, but since it hasn't gained any traction yet, it's not a major issue).

July 1: We should have chapter 250 of the main story with Rana's introduction to the Rentaro family.

I'm just going to say be careful and watch at your own risk, and try to wait until tomorrow when we have the Japanese version to avoid confusion or misunderstandings about the new girlfriend. What I mean is, don't rush into everything like the last few times.

Be careful with leaks; it's happened several times in the past that a panel featuring the new girlfriend has been leaked days before the chapter's official release.

So, if you see any leaks, try not to share them, especially since lately leaked pages have been edited with AI to the point of completely changing the context or even the new girlfriend's design (like what happened with Kogoe).

So far, I haven't seen any leaks, but if one happens, I'll let you know here as soon as possible.

As I said, I don't know why, but I feel like we'll get a trailer tomorrow. Maybe it's because we're a month away from the third season premiere, and logically, there should be something. Besides, I've noticed that for some reason they release the announcements on weekends (a lot of other anime do that too). I don't know why; I guess it's marketing or something. Anyway, I guess we'll find out in a few hours.
