A couple nights ago, one of the other nurses joked that I could be charge nurse the rest of the night. We get like an extra dollar an hour if we are in charge, and they said that that would pay for a gallon or two of gas. I said that thats ok, I havent gone to a gas station in years for my vehicle. They asked if I had an EV, to which I said yes. Quite a few of them started asking me questions about how to charge them, driving long distances, how much money I save, etc. i also told them about vehicle to load which allowed us to have power during an outage this spring. A few of them were really interested. One was thinking about getting one anyway but said she would pass on what I told her to her husband, as there were things I told her that she didnt know about them. Another one said that she never thought about getting an EV but now she is gonna look into getting one. Hopefully I helped convinced a couple more people that they are worth considering.

We bought a hot tub off my parents a year and a half ago, and ever since then I have maintained it without issue. Yesterday, my husband checked the water quality and I guess saw that the PH was low, so he added 18 ounces of ph increaser. That was the amount for a 10,000 gallon pool. Ever since then the pump seems to circulate decently on low, but on high it makes a lot of noise and the amount of water coming out of the jets is extremely reduced. I drained all the water last night and refilled with no effect. I did get some stuff that is supposed to help with scale that I added a few hours ago to see if that would help. But besides that, does anyone have and suggestions of what the hell happened, and how to go about fixing it? I didnt see any precipitate in the water before draining. Idk if theres a partial clog somewhere or what. Help would be much appreciated! It is a Marquis hot tub if it matters at all.

There was a gun show in my area this weekend, and with the prices people want for things there it is a miracle anyone buys anything. Garands in not very good shape for $2500. No special attributes or provinces either, just some throat measurements. Even bulk 9 mm and 5.56 was much more expensive than what I could get it for right down the road at a store. I did find one older gentleman selling HXP M2 ball for a reasonable price, which happened to be what I was looking for, so I was able to pick up 120 rounds of it along with a free 7.62mm ammo can he gave me with it, but other than that, no one there was selling .30-06 for under 1.75 a round. I know I should be happy with what I was able to find, and I am, but it is just a little bit ridiculous what people are charging.
