Found in Ontario, Canada

From a bit of looking online, I think this might be mycenastrum corium, but that's just a guess. I have two reference books on mushrooms in my area and neither of them have M. corium. Found the same kind last summer, but it was much larger.

Solid white interior leads me to believe it's a puffball, but it does have an outer layer that I'm not sure other puffballs have?
