Looking for a flatmate to apartment hunt ✨

Hi! I'm Sumehra, a bachelors student at Lisaa Paris (soon changing to ECV) and I'm looking for someone to team up with for apartment hunting in Paris. I'm looking for like minded people so if you're left-leaning and have liberal ideas I think we will get along great! I am also a design student and if you are also in the creative field, please do message me!

My budget for my share is €550-600 monthly (so we can look for a 2-bed for around €1200 approximately).

I am flexible with the locations, but would prefer more towards the south of Paris (13th, 5th, 14th, 15th).

I have Visale guarantee and a current Garantme contract with my current housing.

Hoping to confirm a place from July.

If you are also looking for accommodation, and would like to split the rent on an apartment with me please do not hesitate to comment or DM! (preferably women/queer people) 🥰

You can message me here on reddit or my other socials (ig : @sumz.zz)

Looking forward to meet a great person!

Art commisions as an International student

Hello!

I am a bachelors student in Paris, and have been living here for 6 months now and looking for work during the summer. I am not sure how the work policies are for international students in France, and how taxes work here either and would love some insight.

I am a design student, and have illustration/drawing skills so I am also interested in working freelance but not in the typical style - usually I have seen artists especially on Instagram/Twitter(X) offering commission work for people and I don't know where this falls into the working policies for students. As per my knowledge in the case of freelance, the person has to register themselves as a 'auto-entrepreneur' that dismisses the student status. However; the type of commission work I am offering is in a less professional scope - networking via social media to find potential clients and offering my services to them for a price. In such cases, how would I report it on my tax returns or even if its allowed to do so in France.

Would love to get feedback and more knowledge/information about this in general and about working as a student in France (Paris).

Thank you!
