Scene 1: The Announcement

Location: The Empty Lot

Sue: Everyone, guess what! My family entered a sweepstakes at the supermarket, and we actually won! It's a trip to Tokyo Disneyland, exactly four weeks from today!

Sneech: Wow! Tokyo Disneyland? My family goes there all the time, of course. I know all the best spots for VIP parade viewing.

Big G: Outta my way, Sneech! Sue, old pal! You know who your best friend is, right? The guy who can protect you from the crowds! Me!

Ace Goody: Congratulations, Sue. That sounds like a wonderful opportunity to study the animatronic engineering.

Sue: Well, the prize is for a family of four, but since it's just my mom, my dad, and me, we have one extra ticket. I get to bring one friend!

Sneech: So, what time should my chauffeur drop me off at your house?

Sue: I haven't decided yet! It’s a really special trip, so I need some time to think about who to invite. I’ll let whoever it is know soon.

Noby: (Mutters to himself) Time to think... right. Why would she ever pick a clumsy guy like me when Ace is practically a genius and Sneech is rich? It's hopeless. There's zero chance I'm going. I'm just going to go home.

Scene 2: Doraemon's Nightmare

Location: Noby's Bedroom

Noby: (Bursting through the door in tears) Waaaaah! Doraemon! My life is over! It’s totally unfair!

Doraemon: (Sighs) What is it this time, Noby? Did Big G punch you, or did you get another zero on your math test?

Noby: Worse! Sue's family won a trip to Tokyo Disneyland, and she gets to take one friend because they have an extra ticket! But she’s taking time to decide, which means she’s definitely going to pick Ace or Sneech! You have to give me a gadget to make her pick me! Please, Doraemon!

Doraemon: (Turning pale) W-w-wait. Did you say... Tokyo Disneyland?!

Noby: Yes! The happiest place on Earth! Just one little gadget to make me charming—

Doraemon: NO! Absolutely not! Are you out of your mind, Noby?! Do you know who runs that place?!

Noby: Disney?

Doraemon: The mouse!! It’s a giant, walking, talking MOUSE! A mouse in red shorts! An entire kingdom worshipping mice!

Noby: But Doraemon…

Doraemon: Forget it! I am not giving you a single gadget to help you waltz into the jaws of the ultimate rodent! You should be grateful you aren't going!

Scene 3: The Secret Decoy and the Parental Alliance

Location: Noby's Front Entrance / Downstairs Hallway

(The doorbell rings. Noby comes rushing down the stairs, tripping on the last step and sliding to the front door. He pulls it open to find Sue standing there, smiling warmly.)

Noby: (Rubbing his head) Sue! H-hi! What's up? Did you come to tell me you're taking Ace?

Sue: Actually, Noby, I made my decision about the Disneyland trip. I want you to come with me.

Noby: (His jaw unhinges, hitting the floor. He points a trembling finger at himself) M-me?! Are you serious?! Not Ace? Not Sneech?

Sue: Of course I'm serious. We always have the most fun together, Noby. Here. (She reaches into her pocket and hands him a slightly faded, creased paper ticket) Our trip is in exactly four weeks. Keep this ticket very, very safe until then, okay? Don't lose it!

Noby: (Tears of pure joy erupting from his eyes like fountains) I won't! I'll guard it with my life! I'll put it in my pillowcase! I'm going to Disneyland! Thank you, Sue!

(Noby spins around and sprints back up the stairs as fast as his legs can carry him, completely forgetting his manners.)

Noby: (Screaming from upstairs) DORAEMON!! LOOK! SUE CHOSE ME! I HAVE THE TICKET! WE'RE GOING TO SEE THE GIANT MOUSE!

Doraemon: (A muffled, terrified shriek from upstairs) KEEP THAT CURSED PAPER AWAY FROM ME!

(Sue giggles, watching Noby run off. The sliding door to the living room opens, and Tammy (Noby's mom) steps into the hallway, drying her hands on an apron. She has a warm, knowing smile on her face.)

Tammy: Oh, Sue, dear. That was so incredibly sweet of you, and your parents asking for permission to letting him go on that trip with you. Thank you for inviting our Noby.

Sue: (Bowing politely) It's my pleasure, Mrs. Nobi! I really want him to be there.

(Looking around to make sure Noby isn't listening, then stepping closer) However, I have the real extra ticket safe with me.

Tammy: Huh?

Sue: The ticket I just handed Noby... is actually an old, expired stub from when my dad went five years ago. I didn't really wanted to deceived him but I know how he is. If you can do me a favor to jot tell him and play along until the time comes.

Tammy: (Chuckling softly, her eyes crinkling, knowing Noby has a tendency of getting his items lost or stolen) Sue, you are a remarkably clever girl. That is a brilliant plan to protect him. Of course I'll keep it a secret.

Sue: Thank you so much, Mrs. Nobi! I'll see you in a few weeks!

(Sue waves and heads home, while Tammy looks up the stairs, listening to Noby excitedly babbling to a traumatized Doraemon. She shakes her head with an affectionate smile and closes the front door.)

Scene 4a: Three weeks later - Sneech's Trickery (Branch A)

Location: The Street

Sneech: Hey, Noby. I heard the surprising news. Sue gave you the ticket.

Noby: Yep! I've got it right here in my pocket! I'm going to Disneyland!

Sneech: Oh, Noby... You know those promotional sweepstakes tickets aren't active right away, right? They have to be validated through a special scanner, or they turn you away at the gate.

Noby: What?! They do?!

Sneech: Naturally. My uncle owns one of the validation machines. If you hand me the ticket, I can get it stamped for you. Or, you know, you can risk getting rejected in front of Sue.

Noby: Oh no! Please, Sneech, take it! Validate it for me! (Hands over the ticket)

Sneech: (Smirking) Sure thing, Noby. Leave it to me.

Scene 4b: Three weeks later - Big G's Coercion (Branch B)

Location: The Empty Lot

Big G: (Cracking his knuckles) Well, well, well. If it isn't Noby. I hear you're holding a certain piece of paper that belongs to me.

Noby: Big G! N-no, Sue gave it to me! It's for the trip in four weeks!

Big G: And what is the rule of the neighborhood, Noby? What's mine is mine, and what's yours is mine! Are you really going to make me take it by force? You'd just ruin Sue's trip anyway by tripping on a churro!

Noby: No, please!

Big G: (Grabs Noby by the shirt collar) The ticket, Noby. Now.

Noby: (Crying, hands it over) Here! Take it! Just don't hit me please!

Scene 5a: Trip Day - Sneech's Pursuit (Branch A Continuation)

Location: Sue's Driveway / Noby's Bedroom

Noby: (Head bowed, crying) Sue, I am so, so sorry. Sneech took my ticket a week ago. I ruined everything.

Sue: (Leans in and whispers in Noby's ear) Don't worry, Noby. I knew something like this would happen. The ticket I gave you was an old used one. I've kept your real ticket safe in my bag this entire time. Come on, let's go!

Noby: (Beaming) Sue! You're a genius!

(Meanwhile, at Noby's house)

Sneech: (Banging on the window) Hey, Doraemon!

Doraemon: Sneech? What brings you here?

Sneech: I just need to borrow a Hopter real quick! It's an emergency!

Doraemon: Oh, okay. Here! (Hands him a Take-Copter)

Sneech: (Attaches it to his head) Perfect. Have a nice weekend sitting at home, Noby!

Scene 5b: Trip Day - Big G's Pursuit (Branch B Continuation)

Location: Sue's Driveway / Noby's Bedroom

Noby: (Sniffling) Sue, I'm the worst. I can't go. Big G cornered me and forced me to give up my ticket to him. I'm sorry.

Sue: (Leans in and whispers) It's okay, Noby. I figured Big G would try to bully you for it. That ticket was old and used anyway. I've had the real one perfectly safe in my purse for the last four weeks. Cone on!

Noby: (Wiping his eyes) Really?! You're the best, Sue!

(Meanwhile, at Noby's house)

Big G: (Yelling into the room) Hey, robot cat! Hand over a Hopter!

Doraemon: Big G? Don't you know how to knock? And why do you need a Hopter?

Big G: An emergency! Just give it here before!

Doraemon: Okay, then. Here! (Handing him the Hopter)

Big G: (Putting it on) Heh heh. Disneyland, here comes the star of the show!

Scene 6a: Sneech's Humiliation (Branch A Conclusion)

Location: Tokyo Disneyland Main Entrance Gates

(15 minutes after Sue and Noby enter the park)

Sneech: (Landing heavily as the Hopter sputters and dies) Ugh, stupid cheap gadget! Good thing I made it. Noby is probably sitting in his room crying right now. Time to be Sue's knight in shining armor.

Cast Member: Ticket, please?

Sneech: (Smug) Here you go.

Cast Member: (Scans ticket. It buzzes red) Sir, I'm sorry, but this ticket is a promotional stub that expired over five years ago. It's not valid for entry.

Sneech: What?! That's impossible! Try it again!

Security Guard: Sir, please step out of the line. You are holding up the other guests.

Sneech: (Being ushered to the side, face bright red as people stare) No, wait! How am I supposed to get back?! Mommy!!!! WWWAAAAHHHH!!!!!!

Scene 6b: Big G's Takedown (Branch B Conclusion)

Location: Tokyo Disneyland Main Entrance Gates

(15 minutes after Sue and Noby enter the park)

Big G: (Crashing into a trash can as the Hopter dies) Whoa! Stupid battery! Doesn't matter. I'm here! Move aside, extras, the main attraction has arrived!

Cast Member: Good morning! Do you have your ticket?

Big G: Yeah, right here. (Slaps the ticket into the Cast Member's hand)

Cast Member: (Scans ticket. It buzzes red) Excuse me, young man. This is an expired stub from years ago. You cannot enter.

Big G: Expired?! Noby! That little twerp set me up! Let me in! I'm gonna find Noby, and I'm gonna pound him into the pavement! I'll tear this place apart!

Security Guard: (Grabbing Big G by the arms) Alright, son. Making threats against other guests means you're leaving the premises immediately.

Big G: Okay, I'm sorry! I just want to get in!

(Suddenly, a pink Anywhere Door materializes right in front of the security kiosk. The door swings open, revealing a towering, furious woman with an apron.)

Mrs. Goda: BIG G!!!

Big G: (Instantly terrified) M-M-Mom?!

Mrs. Goda: Sneaking out of the house when you have deliveries to make for the store?! And going all the way to a theme park?! You are in so much trouble!

Big G: WWAAAHHH!!! I'M SORRY, MOMMY!!!

Mrs. Goda: (Grabs Big G by the ear and drags him through the Anywhere Door) Get inside this door right now! You're grounded for a month!

Theme Park Guest: (Watching the door vanish) Oh my... did they add a new Alice in Wonderland show? That woman was exactly like the Queen of Hearts! Off with his head, indeed!
