Terrifyingly huge interior of Germany's Cologne Cathedral!

So just now I was looking up the world-famous Cologne Cathedral in Germany for mere creative inspiration for a Medieval Fantasy story and then I came across photos showing the historical European structure's enormous and sublimely big interior as it gives me a scary sense of vertigo as it makes me imagine what it would be like to fall from the very top ceiling of this structure.

I am also American but of roughly half German ethnic descent and so that is why I felt inspired to look these up as well as I have also always had a fascination with Medieval Renaissance times as well. Enjoy the photographs!

Two horror-themed 90s family shows I grew up with as a kid!

So as you guys can tell by the photos above, Are You Afraid Of The Dark and Goosebumps were both 90s TV shows I had grown up with 30 years ago during the 1990s as I remember watching both shows religiously as a young kid with my brother and sister, specifically 30 years ago during the year of our lord, 1996 as it was a Halloween-flavored family show that gives me very strong nostalgia for the 90s itself.

Shows like these also really demonstrate what a more happy and optimistic time the 1990s as it was the ten-year post cold war period where everything felt possible and I believe these shows strongly reflect the happy and go-lucky optimism of the 90s plus even the cheesiness and bad acting in the show also can give it a certain something nostalgic charm as well.

Yes, I know, of course, the 1990s did have its shady side especially with events like the 1999 Columbine High School shootings as well as the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombings.

So I just added two pictures here, one of each show as the one on the left is Are You Afraid Of The Dark and Goosebumps and I did not add more than two because then I would have to say which show the picture was from. Enjoy feeling nostalgic for the 90s.

World Trade Center seen on cover of 1996 Jackie Chan movie!

So I believe I came across this cover for Rumble in the Bronx on a YouTube video and then I decided to look it up on Google images and I found this image specifically from Amazon.com as it somehow felt perfect to me as we see the World Trade Center to the right of Jackie Chan in the image above.

This really shows you what an iconic structure the original World Trade Center was in the pre-9/11 1990s as perhaps no other skyscraper or high-rise quite captured the skyline of the big apple, New York City at the time this movie was made and released. Now the only reason I did not add the name of this movie in the post's title was, of course, it would make the title longer than it needed to be as the image obviously will say the name of the movie. Enjoy!

World Trade Center Twin towers as seen on YouTube ambient video!

So this is specifically an ambient video for the 40-year old 1986 comedy film: The Money Pit as both the thumbnail and the screen for the video as it shows the 1980s New York City skyline with the original World Trade Center twin towers still intact and gracing the skyline of New York City from 40 years ago.

This really shows you and demonstrates the timeframe this movie was made during, which of course, is the 1980s obviously. So yes, I used my phone to take screenshots of both this video's thumbnail as well as screen for the video while you are playing as I thought that would be a simpler, easier way to do that. Enjoy!

▲ 19 r/zombies

So this is a list that I just randomly felt compelled to make as I thought it would be interesting to not only show a list of Zombie movies from 2001 to now roughly with the most bleak and cynical post 9/11 themes like terrorism among other things but also the fact that they were released after the 9/11, 2001 terrorist attacks as well. The list is below as I will also add photos to this post.

28 Days Later (2002)

Resident Evil (2002

28 Weeks Later (2007)

The Crazies (2010)

Shaun Of The Dead (2004)

Dawn Of The Dead (2004)

Rec (2007)

Planet Terror (2007)

World War Z (2013)

Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)

Quarantine (2008)

Quarantine 2: Terminal (2011)

Zombieland (2009)

I am Legend (2007)

Maggie (2015)

Now obviously there is a sea of other movies on this list but it would take way too long for me to compile a list of every single one. Feel free as such to add or mention other Post-9/11 zombie films.

So at Ten years old all the way back just one year short of 30 years ago I loved playing House Of The Dead, not only because it is utterly nostalgic but also because I love it's creepy and gothic horror-movie atmosphere plus I also love how memorable some designs for the zombies in the game are as well.

Also, worth noting is the game's Victorian Gothic setting of the Curien Mansion as I always love how creepy and gothic the opening intro to the game is as well as I love how it exemplifies that Halloween-Flavored Classic Gothic-Horror aesthetic as such as I remember being rather creeped out by the game's intro when the announcer says "The House Of The Dead!" as it was spooky I thought how he would draw out those words in a terrifying manner.

I also remember as a young kid at that age being creeped out by the idea of meeting one of those zombies in my dark room back up in Salem, Oregon from the game itself all those years ago as that is what for me today adds to the 90s nostalgia for this game. Enjoy these awesome pictures!

So these are all the photos I could find online on Google Images that show the final hours of the World Trade Center's life before the airplanes would strike the twin towers themselves that morning as this was something I felt rather randomly inspired to do as I don't know if I have ever seen anyone do this on here before.

But anyway as I said these photos show the World Trade Center in the hours of the twin towers's life before the skyline of New York City itself would become forever irreparably changed as it is freaky to think this is before Flights 11 and 175 would strike both buildings. The fact that I have never been to New York City is one reason why one of my biggest regrets in life is not visiting New York City before that fateful day as I was much too much of a home body before I started doing more cross-country travel at the beginning of 2018 and the start of 2019. It's not perhaps a huge regret of mine but it is somewhat though.

May all the victims of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, rest in peace. Amen!

So I was just now trying to look up photos of horror-movie covers that had the twin towers on them and instead I came across this photo of the New York City skyline with the Original World Trade Center on it as this photo as the title says was taken on September 3rd, 2001, which was only 8 days before the tragic terrorist attacks of 9/11, 2001 would forever alter the skyline of the big apple itself.

As one can also tell this was taken obviously at night as. otherwise the twin towers and all the other buildings would be all lit up in a beautiful way like they are in this 25-year old photo. Enjoy!
