Occupy Wall Street Tents
A story about Lupe fiasco and the occupy Wall Street tents. So it’s right after Fiasco Friday and me and Lupe are close and I have his number. We formed the Fiasco Street Team which didn’t do nearly as much as I hoped it did. My phone rings and it’s Lupe Fiasco he says he saw Occupy Wall Street was happening and wanted to help them and knew where I lived which was Jersey at the time and he just pulled his tour bus over at Dicks and tons of other camping places and bought up every tent. Now this man has 150 plus tents in the back of his tour bus and is on tour passing through upper NY and asked if I could make sure they got there. I had zero way of pulling this off I drove a very small car. But it’s Lupe..so u said yes! Of course no problem! Called my dad in panic with no way to make this happen. He calls his friend up who has a big truck and a trailer he says we can borrow it. We drive and meet Lupe at like 3am in upper NY pick up all the tents and drive them to Harlem and give them to this girl (Luella) and her boyfriend who helped us get them to the people at occupy Wall Street
The cops then famously tore them all down shortly after and it was all over the news and front page of the paper. Most of those tents were straight from Lupe
