My Brother is Supposed to Graduate in May But is 3 Credits Short, What Should He Do?
Hi! I'm writing this on my brother's behalf, I'm a freshman so I swear I'm not a guy who's pretending like this is someone else's issue when it's really his or anything like that.
Basically, my brother is a Biology Major at Rutgers Newark SAS. He transferred to Rutgers Junior year, but had issues with getting his required credits which ended up pushing back his graduation date a few times. Now he's supposed to graduate this May, like he already has the cap and gown, took the graduation photo, and applied for the tickets.
The issue is within the 38 Biology Degree requirements, he's apparently 3 credits short. Specifically, its Requirement R5: Required Biology Credits.
He's looked, and apparently he can take a class over the summer (can apply after he pays off financial hold). But with graduation coming soon, it's hard to really know if he's still going to be able to walk or not. I checked his GradTracker and it's still marked as pending.
Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? If so, who did you contact to resolve it? Even if you haven't dealt with this specifically any sort of clarification/input would be extremley appreciated!
