Sweater is the Staple Sweater pattern by New Wave Knitting using KnitPicks Wool of the Andes that I hand dyed with Rit dye. Shorts are self drafted using the book Knitting from the Top Down by Barbara G Walker. I used Lion's Brand Cotton Hemp. I've been knitting for a while but had not finished anything more than a simple hat or scarf before this sweater and it was my first time dyeing yarn. I can't wait to make another pair of these shorts. I wouldn't buy the Wool of the Andes yarn again. For me, it is on the itchier side. I don't mind it for this sweater but I've also made a beanie with it and I can't stand it near my face.
