A moth laid a few eggs and they hatched. I read on the internet that they eat leaves but these guys dont seem to like the ones I gave them, am I doing something wrong?

This is a ottoman inscription on a public faucet built by them in my city in Serbia but as far as I know, nobody was able to dechiper it.
