M35 here, never really thought about my hairline, have had thick long hair for years, and no baldness in my family, but lately I slicked my hair back in a pony tail, looked at my hairline, and now I'm obsessively thinking about it.

I'm just seeing those tiny hair/thin areas in the very front and that M shape, and that's what's making me wonder if it's the beginning of thinning or just normal mature hairline. Seeing other people's pics doesn't help, because the more I look at myself up close, the more exaggerated I see it as.

Sorry if it's a dumb thing to ask, just seeking validation/if there's anything preventive I should be doing
