was able to leave after 4 years and it is absolute chaos. My new place doesn’t start for 1.5wks so we are still living together. When I’m alone I feel free and empowered to meet new people. when I read her texts or she confronts me I get called the villain and disgusting one minute and then asks me to love her and take her back the next. It’s exhausting having to process a breakup and also protect yourself from the manipulation dynamic. And the worst part is that it almost works on me. I consider trying just “one more time” and making her pain subside. Hoping that it gets easier after moving out.
